ROCKFORD – Library patrons can now pick up items such as books and DVDs that they have on hold at the Rockford Public Library via a new curbside service.

Pickup times must be prearranged. Patrons can reserve items using the library’s website at rockfordpubliclibrary.org or by phone.

When items are available, they will be sanitized and patrons will be called to make an appointment for curbside pickup.

The Rockford Public Library has been closed since March 17 because of the novel coronavirus pandemic, offering digital and remote services only. This includes library branches, events and classes.

For more information, contact the library at info@rockfordpubliclibrary.org or by calling 815-965-7606.
