FREEPORT — New Horizons Counseling Center recently received a grant from the Freeport Community Foundation and United Way of Northwest Illinois.
The grant was given to help provide access to quality mental health services for people living in northwest Illinois who have been impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.
New Horizons encourages people who are struggling financially and need access to therapeutic mental health counseling services to call 815-235-6171 and leave a message at option 1. A member of the professional staff will return the call.
Services are provided by licensed clinical professional counselors over the phone as long as the shelter in place is recommended by Gov. J.B. Pritzker.
