OREGON — The University of Illinois Extension will offer a webinar series, Growing Horticulture in Northwest Illinois, from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Wednesdays beginning April 15.

Topics will include “Drought Tolerant Annuals and Perennials” on April 15, “Big Flavors in Small Spaces: Container Fruits” on April 22, “Northern Illinois Berry School Part One: Introduction and Management” on April 29, “Northern Illinois Berry School Part Two: Management and Diseases” on May 6 and “Colorful Vegetables” on May 13.

Extension educators Bruce Black and Grant McCarty and state master gardener coordinator Candice Hart will teach the webinars. Growing Horticulture in Northwest Illinois is for those interested in learning more about gardening, growing food in a home or community garden or looking for ideas for the upcoming growing season.
