ROCKFORD — The 10th annual Crossroads Blues Festival will begin at noon Aug. 24 at Lyran Park, 4781 S. Bend Road.
The theme of this year’s event is “Harp Attack,” and each band on the main stage will feature a harmonica player as part of the act.
The Blues Disciples, the Chris O'Leary Band, Reverend Raven & the Chain Smokin’ Altar Boy, Nick Moss and Dennis Gruenling and John Primer and his band will perform on the main stage throughout the day. In between the main stage acts, bands will perform in the Pavilion.
The festival will feature food and merchandise vendors. Beer and wine will be sold for $5 each, and soda and water will be sold for $1.
