FREEPORT — A traffic stop led to police charging a man with intending to deliver drugs.
Terry Collins of the 1400 block of South Float Avenue was pulled over for a broken windshield. He was arrested for driving without a valid driver's license and the subsequent investigation led to police discovering that Collins was in possession of 35 pills of MDMA, commonly known as ecstasy, Freeport Police Deputy Chief Matt Summers said.
Collins is charged with unlawful possession with intent to deliver MDMA, 15-200 pills. His bond is set at $50,000.
