Rockford Anesthesiologists Associated LLC announces board elections


ROCKFORD — Rockford Anesthesiologists Associated LLC recently announced the election of physicians who will serve two-year terms on the practice’s internal board of managers.


Drs. W. Stephen Minore, Timothy Starck and Lisa Solomon were re-elected to two-year terms on the board. Dr. Nathan Hahn was newly elected as a member at large.


Minore continues to serve as president and CEO of the practice, Dr. Maria Laporta as vice president, Dr. Norbert Duttlinger as treasurer, Dr. Lisa Solomon as secretary and Dr. Stanislav Brandis serves as a member at large.


The practice has provided expert anesthesiologic care and interventional pain management to patients in hospitals and clinics in the Northern Illinois region for more than 50 years.

Blackhawk Bank hires senior vice president, administrator


ROCKFORD — Blackhawk Bank recently hired Lori Diaz as senior vice president, cash management, and Amy Smith as cash management administrator.


Diaz is a graduate of Judson University with bachelor’s degree in management and leadership. Diaz has been in the banking industry for 35 years, previously serving as senior vice president of treasury management at Illinois Bank and Trust.


Diaz is a certified treasury treasury professional and an active member in the community. She is a board member of the YWCA of Northwestern Illinois, the MILL Foundation and KFACT. She is also a member of the Association for Financial Professionals and is Treasurer of the Golden Apple Foundation of Rockford.


Smith is a graduate of Judson University with a bachelor’s degree in business management, leadership and human resources. She has been in the financial industry for 23 years, most recently serving as treasury management specialist at Illinois Bank and Trust. Amy specialized in new service implementation and customer training.

Stillman Bank hires trust officer


ROCKFORD — Stillman Bank recently hired J. Joseph McCoy as a trust officer.


In his position, McCoy will work within the bank’s trust and wealth management department. He will be located primarily in the bank’s Rockford office, but will assist customers at all six Stillman Bank locations.


Before joining Stillman, McCoy was an attorney in Rockford for over 12 years, specializing in trusts and estates. He was recognized as a Leading Lawyer in Illinois from 2015-19. He earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in accounting from the University of Wisconsin – Madison and his law degree from the University of Miami.


McCoy currently serves as the president of the Rockford Symphony Orchestra board.
